I absolutely love visiting friends… especially if they’re ones who are not as penniless as I am. 😛
Oh yeah, I visited this bunch on my way home from a tutorial class on Thursday night. And they surprised me to an unplanned dinner. Are they not just adorable? Hehe.
The night started with a request. They requested I bring food to the office because they’re hungry. And so I did. But then they only had about 35 minutes left at the office when I arrived, so they asked me to wait. I didn’t have anything else to do so I waited. They just let me stay in the reception area though, the snobs. Kidding! But hey, at least they have a nice sofa set… and I had Dean Koontz’s Phantoms with me. 😀 And then, when they clocked out for the day, they nonchalantly informed me that we’re going out to dinner–news that I really didn’t welcome at first… ‘coz it’s the middle of the week and I only get paid on weekends. Haha. But I shouldn’t have been worried at all. I have great friends, after all.
We opted to go to Pizza Hut because it’s only a walking distance from “their” office. 🙂 And of course, they have nice enough food.
We three girls got Red Iced Tea [Rating: 8/10]
It was a bit too sweet for my liking. But after all the heat, it was still good.
Spaghetti Shrimp Garlic & Mushrooms [Rating: 9/10] [Ley’s Rating: 9/10]
Very yummy… but for the itchy shrimps. 😛
Ley declared the shrimps didn’t taste like shrimps at all, and so they were delicious.
Pesto Chicken Penne [Rating: 9/10]
Cel didn’t finish it though. I think it was too creamy and basil-y for her. Hehe.
Aglio Olio [Jenny’s Rating: /10]
Chicken Tenders [Rating: 8.5/10]
Hut Patatas [Rating: 8/10] They were ok… but I still prefer mojos. ^_^
Garlic Bread [Rating: 9.5/10]
And of course, I got stuffed with these lovely people.
Ley with the gals 😛
I think Ley was sad he didn’t get a solo. Joke!
