We had this dinner last month, a day before New Year’s eve. Hey, at least it wasn’t last year. Wait. It was last year. Hehehe. Anyway, we girls try to see each other every few weeks or so because they tend to miss me if we don’t. All right, we miss each other. Seriously, we like to catch up on what’s happening with each other’s lives every few days or so. The fewer shocking surprises, the better. That’s our motto. Haha. But when we do have shocking, but delightful, surprises, we always would like to celebrate. I think this dinner was one of them. Hehehe. Kidding, Dona. 😛
Now, this restaurant can be found at Robinsons Cybergate Mall. That new building across Chong Hua Hospital and near the old Robinsons Place, if your facing the Fuente Circle. The place looked like any typical family restaurant and the crew was quite accommodating. And when we ordered our food, they didn’t wait for us to get irate before they served it. Haha. They were quite quick actually, which was delightfully surprising. What about the food? Well, it was all right. Most of their food did not really stand out as exceptional, but I remember the fish was really yummy and the malunggay pancit was a new experience. 😀
Now, on to the specifics…
Vegetable Pancit with Malunggay Noodles [Rating: 8/10]
Platter with Chicken, Lumpia, and some other stuff I can’t remember [Rating: 9/10]
… because I only ate the chicken. 😀
Gravy [Rating: 10/10]
I’ve always loved gravy. 😀
Sweet and Sour Fish [Rating: 10/10]
The lovelies that made eating the food more pleasant. 🙂
It was a good dinner.
When you eat with good friends, the food would rarely disappoint.
