Thai Dinners with my Little Sistah

Last year, my little sister and her little family came to visit us here in Cebu. It was a blast! We visited all the Thai restaurants we could think of. Unfortunately, there were times that I wasn’t able to bring my camera. There were also times I was so busy munching that I barely took any pixies. So all in all, I only have pictures of Lemon Grass and Siam. *ย  Lemon Grassย  * Last time I visited Lemon Grass was when their place was still in what is now known as Ayala’s Active Zone. It was one of the memorable stints of the slingbag shift. That was like seven years ago so I didn’t bother looking for those photos. ๐Ÿ˜› Anyways, I was late for this one and so I was only able to take pictures of a few leftovers. Yup, you heard that right. Leftovers. But I am easily appeased by anything edible, especially if they still look pretty, which in that restaurant’s lighting, pretty much everything would look pretty. Hehe.

Spring Roll [Rating: 8/10]

Spicy Shrimp [Rating: 8/10]

Mussels [Rating: 9/10] I love shells. ๐Ÿ˜€

Pad Thaiย [Rating: 7/10] What can I say? It was a tad forgettable. Sorry!

Citrus and Herb Lemonade[Rating: 9/10]

It would have been 10 if only I didn’t spy fruit flies floating on it. :-s

Had dinner with these lovely people. Most of them are my little sister’s school buddies. They always get together whenever one of them comes home. Sweet, aren’t they?

Sean, Little Sis (a.k.a. Rachel), Arlene, Stephanie, Bronson, Darlene, Wes

* SIAMย  *

Siam Tropical Slush [Rating: 10/10] and Thai beer [I don’t like beer. :P]

Can’t remember the exact name… had some red curry and sea food, I think.

Tom Yum with Seafood [Rating: 10/10] It was quite spicy. I loved it.

Shrimp Thingies[Rating: 6/10]ย  It was forgettable. Sorry.

Spring Rolls [I can’t remember eating this. It had pork, I think.]

Chicken Pandan [Rating: 7/10]

Beef with Sesame Seeds [No “red meat” diet… remember? :P]

Fried Rice [Rating: 7/10] It was yummy. But I had to fish out the ham bits. ๐Ÿ˜›

Chicken Curry [Rating: 9/10] I loved it.

But I’ve always loved curry and chicken so there’s nothing special. ๐Ÿ˜€

Can’t remember this one either. Can’t even remember if it was chicken or some other meat.Really sorry.

It looks yummy though.

Pad Thai [Rating: 9/10] It was better than Lemon Grass’ ๐Ÿ˜€

Buko Pandan [Rating: 9/10] Ate Inday’s Buko Pandan tastes better. I tasted it once.. back when I didn’t know she used Nestle Cream. Hehe. ๐Ÿ˜€

Sticky Rice with Ripe Mango [Rating: 10/10] I love love this!

My sister Christine, Papa, and pouty Sean

Cheeky Sean… I miss this little guy.

This happened a couple of months ago. And I have not visited any of these restaurants since. But I’d really like to visit SIAM again. SIAM is much cheaper than Lemon Grass and it had a better overall ambiance, too.ย  Maybe I’d go there with Yam, Cel, and Ley when we finally go and have dinner together. Whatcha think, gals… and guy? ๐Ÿ˜›

Kลr hรขi jร -rern aa-hฤƒan, everyone!

    • Thanks for visiting! I’m sorry for not having the prices here. My posts are usually late, which is why I rarely remember any of the prices. I’ll try to do that next time. Can’t make promises though. ๐Ÿ™‚

And oh, I didn’t pay for any of this. It was my little sister’s treat. Yeah, lucky me! ๐Ÿ˜€
