Mozzarella Sticks [Rating: 7/10]
They weren’t bad but I’ve munched on better.
Food is one of the major glues that holds us together. And by “us”, I mean my friends and I. Hehe. That’s why it’s not so unusual that whenever I meet up with friends, we always have food right smack in the middle–a fact that I find delightfully adorable, I tell you. Anyhoo, friends and I just discovered this one yummy place, which has two nice branches; one in Guadalupe near Mooon Cafe and another at The Persimmon in Mabolo. You might have heard of it. It’s called Dong Juan.
[Note: I can't remember the prices. Sorry!]

My first visit was with bonitas Dona and Joan… at their Guadalupe branch.

I took a bite… under duress
… and was glad that I did.

Warm Brownie Melt [Rating: 10/10] … which is actually just a Brownie ala Mode.
It was phenomenally scrumptious!

The bellas Dona and Joan

And the second time was after Ley and I covered Sinulog sa Kabataan last last Saturday. I thought he was talking about going to the Guadalupe branch. We both live near there, after all. But no! He was referring to the one at The Persimmon in Mabolo. I was sorta curious if there was any difference between the two so I readily agreed.
This time I ordered a heap of pasta ‘coz I was indescribably hungry.
It was “Pacific… something” [Rating: 10/10]
It had loads of yummy seafood and it was awesome… allergies be damned. o_O

Pork Chop Steak [Rating: 8/10] [Ley's Rating: 10/10]… drowned in gravy.
Yep, I actually took a bite of this one. It was actually okay. *_*

Crème Brûlée [Rating: 10/10]
I couldn’t stop opening up my mouth spoonful after spoonful… even though I was already painfully stuffed.

Warm Brownie Melt [Rating: 4/10]
The brownie was dry and so un-yummy I could cry just thinking about how awful it was! T_T
It still looked pretty though. Hence, the photo.

And of course, here’s wacko… este wacky Ley.

Personally, I like the food and ambiance of the one in Mabolo but I love the Warm Brownie Melt in the Guadalupe branch. But you don’t have to take my word for it. Visit any, or both, of the branches and find out for yourself how yummy their food are.
Buon appetito!
Hope the prices there are not to high. Mukha ngang masarap dyan. Thanks
